Lynne is the media contact and press advisor to the Michigan Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She began her work with the MAAOM in 2002, creating a web site (which has since been changed) and a media presence state wide that assisted the organization's effort to pass regulatory legislation after a 20 year effort. When the law was signed by Governor Jennifer Granholm in February, 2006, Michigan joined the other 43 states that require their acupuncturists to maintain national standards, insuring the highest standards of professionalism and safety for the public.
Lynne also has a weekly Lifestyle advice column that appears in in the Lansing State Journal Noise, the Battle Creek Enquirer Wow!, and the Greenville, SC, Greenville News Link, all Gannett publications. She is also a contributing writer to the Lansing State Journal and Noise on a regular basis. After starting her career as a correspondent for UPI Lansing, her articles have appeared in the Detroit Free Press, and on AP Radio. She brings her experience as a former news director for MacDonald Broadcasting to her work as an independent media and press consultant to help her clients get the most out of their press coverage and create a community presence.
Lynne often helps clients develop creative marketing approaches that evolve from their media strategy featuring the unique features of their organization.
